Calvin's New Crawl

Calvin has always crawled commando style - he is really speedy and totally unique. Just in the past couple of days, he has taken to crawling "normally"...not too sure how I feel about it! Luckily for me, he often still drops to his tummy and slides.

In Denmark, Christmas is celebrated on the 24th in the evening - after dinner, just before opening the presents, you dance around the tree singing carols. Luckily for everyone I had an excuse - I don't know the words!

Good Sport

Between bad weather, lost baggage, closed rental car agencies, and taxis unwilling to take us anywhere without a babyseat (which was in the rental car!), it took us nearly 24 hours to get from London, England to Kalvehave, Denmark. Worst travel story in history - and all things considered, Calvin was a really good sport! Here he is relaxing in the car the last leg of our epic journey.

Laura, Elsie and I braved a new place, the local Italian deli...Calvin decided we were a bit boring and went to hang out with the cakes under the deli counter.

We went to a really cool bar/restaurant in Hamburg called East Bar - Calvin was a champ and stayed up past his bedtime while we had cocktails, and even managed to sleep in the next morning.

Calvin turned one on Saturday, 28th November - I can't believe it's been a year! We opened presents in the morning and he loved all the ribbons and packaging...Christmas is going to be fun this year :)
