Florence and Ianthe

Calvin went to the twins' first birthday party in Flat 11 - new toys, bubbles, balloons...he had a great time :)

Roll over

Calvin can now roll over! I'm not sure it's entirely voluntary, and I still have to help him when he gets stuck on his tummy...but it's often enough that I can't leave him unattended in elevated places!

Carla's bear

One of my mom's best friends from college, Carla, sent over a bear in the cutest outfit - which she made herself! This is one of the few pictures I managed to get where Calvin is not biting his new friend...

First ice cream

Ok, he didn't technically eat any of it - but spent quite some time rubbing the cold package against his poor teething gums!

Pub lunch

And yes, I know I torture the poor boy (bunny ears, sunglasses)...but I can't help myself!

Calvin's regular hangout

Morten and Frederikke came for a visit, so we took them to....wait for it...the martini bar! We ordered afternoon tea and martinis and bumped into some friends there (who asked if we even had a home or just lived at the Egerton ha ha)

Oxford Street with Dad

Martin calls this his "I'm going to get beaten up" outfit, but I think he looks so cute in his little sweater vest!

Christina's Birthday aka Calvin's Lovefest

We went down to the Hoare House for Christina's birthday and Calvin couldn't decide who he loved more, Kristine or Scarlet...Calvin was giggling when Kristine held him, but kept trying to hold Scarlet's hand (ah). Am I crazy or does Scarlet looks a little jealous?! :)

Great Aunt Inga and Great Uncle Bo

Calvin loved meeting his great aunt and uncle - one of their granddaughters is only a day younger than he is, so they knew exactly what to do!

Circus Cal

Calvin is starting to reach for EVERYTHING, and in particular loves my water glass. I think it feels good on his burning gums. This picture makes me laugh - looks like one of those crazy mirrors from the circus!

Yup, it's the Martini Bar again!

Martin's Aunt Inga and Uncle Bo came for a visit, so of course that required a trip to the martini bar. This time we finally got a shot of Calvin with Antonio himself - best bartender in London!

It's the drool bib again

A walk in the Heath on Daddy's shoulder

We're Great Apes Too!

London Zoo with Cousin Anna

Aunt Trine and Cousin Anna came for a visit and we took Calvin for his first trip to the zoo! He slept through a lot of it, but that's him in the buggy in front of the monkeys :)

Drool machine

Get used to seeing that neckerchief - it's the only way we can combat the drool! I'm thinking some teeth will be appearing soon...

Changing table

Calvin is lying on his changing table underneath the gorgeous picture from his Farmor Gudrun - not sure how much longer it is going to be able to hang there though, since he has recently started grabbing everything in sight!

The Playhut

Our local area Camden has a ton of activities for babies, and Calvin and I are busy testing them all to find out which ones are our favorites. So far the Playhut was a big hit - it is literally a giant hut, filled with tons of toys and other children!

Montrachet

The reason Calvin is in his pajamas is because these were taken at 7am! Martin really wanted to see these fields so on our last day there we made an early morning trip (since we were up anyway). Vacations are a little different with a baby :)

With Daddy in the vineyards

You can really see how bald Calvin is getting! All his hair is falling out, especially on one side. It's getting too warm for hats so looks like it's going to be the combover...

Sunny day

Calvin and Cassius hanging out

Calvin learned a lot from his buddy - after France, he "talks" a lot more, can hold his head up, and is grabbing for everything in sight!

Cassius LOVED Martin's glasses
