Bathtime with Mama

Calvin is going through a bit of a Mama's boy stage at the moment...so instead of my nice relaxing bath alone, I now have a little company! The bathtub's not quite the sanctuary it used to be (sigh). At least he's very good at entertaining himself in his little mini-tub!

3 Course Lunch

We went for a walk through the Regent's Park and ended up stopping for lunch at a little Italian restaurant. Calvin was such a superstar, happily chomping away on his bread, that we pushed our luck and had three courses...and it went great! Cal smiled and nibbled his way through an hour and a half lunch. Now that's a good baby :)

Nando's

We had a big playgroup on Friday, with Laura and Elsie, Liz and Alice, and Courtney and James and Scarlett! We all met at Laura's flat for some tea and biscuits, then went to City Farm (yes, again!) then finally on to Nando's where Calvin tried corn for the first time. That's a picture of the floor after we left!

City Farm

With all of our regular activities canceled for the summer break, we have had to come up with some new ideas...this was our trip to City Farm, which is only 5 minutes from our house and has tons of farm animals. We went with our new friends Laura and Maria, and their daughters Elsie and Maria. Calvin's favorite by far were the sheep - probably because they made funny noises and licked his hands!

This was the end of a very busy day - baby gym in the morning, then off to Highgate Woods for the sandbox and swings with James and Scarlett. We finished the day with some dinner in the park, and Calvin managed yet again to get more food on him than in him - like that raspberry that remained on top of his hand throughout the meal!

Farmor and Lene came for a visit to London, and somehow I didn't take my camera anywhere...including to Calvin's 9th visit to the martini bar!! We had such a nice visit and these pictures are from their last morning here.

We went upstairs to hang out with our neighbour Alex and her twin girls, Ianthe (in the pen) and Florence. Calvin was fascinated by their ability to crawl!
