Calvin started out the week a little unsure about the horses...but by the end, they were one of his favourite things! Second to the golf cart, of course.

Calvin and AJ Happy At Last

This is the last day we were in Chicago...and Calvin and AJ were finally getting along! This is how we're going to choose to remember them :)

All the Chicago Kids

We went to a playdate at Renee's, and on the couch from left to right are Justin (Renee's son), Calista and Truman (Sophie's kids), Emily (Renee's daughter) then of course Calvin and me. Calvin's cheeks look like a chipmunk's because in order to get him to sit still on my lap I had to bribe him with candy. Yes, I'm a good mom.

Despite appearances, Calvin and AJ did NOT really get along! It took ice cream and bath time to make them remotely sociable...so understandably when Calvin went to give AJ a big ice cream kiss (instead of the usual screaming that was going on), Kristi and I were really excited. Their dads were not as happy when told the news that their sons were kissing...men!

Calvin and Baby Drew

We stayed at the Metallos the last few days of our Chicago trip, and Calvin LOVED baby Drew. Granted, he kept trying to give her giant buckets of toys and trucks which would have smushed her, but the intention was good. Let's just hope he likes his own little sister as much!

We went to Chicago and stayed with Elizabeth first, then Kristi...this is on the morning of the Kalsch Olympics, in Glencoe. The bottom pic is the house we lived in (across the street from the Kalsches)...when we were there, that tree was just 15 feet tall!
