Backyard Barbecue

We went to Patrick's house for a barbecue on Sunday and Calvin had a great time rolling around in the grass before munching on some cucumber.

Calvin is now almost 6 months old and tried his first bite of real food today...oatmeal! He seemed to like it, after I stopped trying to feed him and let him feed himself. Then for lunch he tried a bite of butternut squash soup - he loved it! I think I have a good eater on my hands...why am I not surprised!?

The Bøgvads came for a visit and we stopped in Camden Market for some lunch - don't the boys look the part :)

NW5 Drop-In

This was our favorite Kentish Town activity so far - tons of babies, rhyme time, plus I ran into two women from my Weight Watchers group there! And there are plenty of volunteers to sit with Calvin while I have a cup of tea...heaven.

Calvin went to the twins' first birthday party in Flat 11 - new toys, bubbles, balloons...he had a great time :)

Roll over

Calvin can now roll over! I'm not sure it's entirely voluntary, and I still have to help him when he gets stuck on his tummy...but it's often enough that I can't leave him unattended in elevated places!

Carla's bear

One of my mom's best friends from college, Carla, sent over a bear in the cutest outfit - which she made herself! This is one of the few pictures I managed to get where Calvin is not biting his new friend...

Morten and Frederikke came for a visit, so we took them to....wait for it...the martini bar! We ordered afternoon tea and martinis and bumped into some friends there (who asked if we even had a home or just lived at the Egerton ha ha)

Christina's Birthday aka Calvin's Lovefest

We went down to the Hoare House for Christina's birthday and Calvin couldn't decide who he loved more, Kristine or Scarlet...Calvin was giggling when Kristine held him, but kept trying to hold Scarlet's hand (ah). Am I crazy or does Scarlet looks a little jealous?! :)

Great Aunt Inga and Great Uncle Bo

Calvin loved meeting his great aunt and uncle - one of their granddaughters is only a day younger than he is, so they knew exactly what to do!

Circus Cal

Calvin is starting to reach for EVERYTHING, and in particular loves my water glass. I think it feels good on his burning gums. This picture makes me laugh - looks like one of those crazy mirrors from the circus!
