Calvin and I went to visit our friends in South London, and went to playgroup with Kristine and baby Esme (in the video where Calvin is inexplicably rocking) and then on to Christina's house to play with baby Iris.
This was a busy day - in the morning we went to Little Stars in Kentish Town, then in the afternoon to the One O'Clock Club in the Heath, where Calvin likes to hang out in the giant sandbox.

Laura and I had this great idea that we should bake a cake to entertain the kids (and get a little something yummy out of it ourselves)...so we set about doing it, only to realise, we had no kitchen scales or measuring cups! So we came up with the rather brilliant idea of using identical glasses to figure out how much we were using (for instance, splitting a 500g bag of flour half into each meant 250...etc). And to cap it off, the boiler man was in the kitchen, relegating us to the hallway! Perhaps not the best idea we've ever had, but the cake sure was yummy :)
This is Calvin's new thing...banging his head at strange moments! Combined with his special crawling style, we're starting to scratch our heads a little....;)

Calvin's new thing? Taking dinner into the bath with him. Above, a carrot and corn. He likes to dip them in the soap and eat them. Disgusting, I know - but he has a surprisingly strong grip for a 15 month old!

Calvin loved driving around in the car at Farmor's house...with blankee along for the ride, of course!

Calvin is now getting pretty excited to get to nursery (although he still cries when I leave) and after breakfast, makes a break for this table, which always has something different in it.

The trick to getting Calvin to eat his food? Put it on Elsie's highchair!
Calvin's new thing is to climb up into his chair (all by himself!) and then have me fetch his toys so he can sit in his fun-filled throne.

We had a quick trip to the Emergency Room so they could remove Calvin's fingernail. I was definitely more upset than he was - here he is playing in the waiting room!
